Los Fuegos - Argentinian Steak and Grill (No.35, Alley 35 Dang Thai Mai - Oakwood Resident Back Gate) - Steak house in Hanoi

They have recently relocated and they have done an awesome job in converting a heritage villa into a beautiful restaurant with indoor and alfresco dining. We sat in the garden courtyard - which was very nice. The staff are highly skilled, friendly and engaging. We stayed for a few hours and enjoyed a very long lunch. There was an issue with the steak - but the staff recognized it before I said anything and they fixed it immediately. This is a very good restaurant all round - we will definitely be back many times!

Very disappointing experience. The food was average at best, with nothing that really stood out. The steak was decent, but the beef tongue was extremely bland and lacked any proper seasoning—especially frustrating as it was recommended by the waiter. Service was a major letdown. Although the waiter appeared attentive, he clearly didn’t understand the menu or his own recommendations. Almost everything he suggested failed to meet expectations, which made the whole dining experience feel poorly guided and frustrating. While the atmosphere was nice, it doesn’t make up for the underwhelming food and unprofessional service. Considering the price we paid, this was far from worth it. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, as it has potential—but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it

Our group of six really enjoyed the steaks and wine here. Outdoor dining area has nice ambiance. Food quality and preparation excellent. All staffs were very attentive, courteous, and speak fluent english language. Prices were also reasonable. Location wise it is in a quiet residential commercial area. Since they recently moved location, booking a Grab car may point you to the old location nearby. Hope it gets updated soon to avoid getting lost.

We have been planning to go to Los Fuegos for a while and we're glad that we did. It is not exaggeration to say that everything was perfect because it really is. We all had different types of meat but mostly Argentinian flap and flank and we all agreed that it was absolutely delicious taste and texture. The salad was also great and I tried for the first time Humita - side dish made of creamed corn and goat cheese. Salads were magnificent and we enjoyed Malbec and another italian wine. The service was very professional and good and they gave very good explanations and just made us feel like at home. And last but not the least is the setting and the beautiful garden of an old Tay Ho villa. That must be probably one of the nicest locations in whole of Hanoi. We will definitely return there soon.

We visited the restaurant on a pleasantly cool day—perhaps a sign that we were in for a wonderful experience 🥰🥰—and it truly did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were not only friendly and polite, but also incredibly attentive throughout our visit. What impressed us the most was how knowledgeable they were about the menu; they explained each dish in detail and gave thoughtful recommendations that really helped us choose dishes that suited our preferences. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a big plus—very chill, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing meal. As for the food, overall everything was well-prepared and nicely balanced in flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into the seasoning and presentation of each dish. However, for my personal taste, some more unfamiliar options like lamb were a bit hard to get used to. That said, we highly recommend trying the Beef Tartare Cone, Octopus Croquettes, and Empanadas—these dishes were absolutely delicious and genuinely surprised us with their unique and well-executed flavors. We also had the chance to be personally guided by the owner on how to enjoy Argentina’s traditional drink, Yerba Mate. It was such a fun and memorable experience, although I might need a bit more time to fully get used to the taste 🤣 All in all, it was a lovely dining experience. Big compliments to the team for both their excellent service and their thoughtful approach to food. Wishing the restaurant continued success and that it becomes even more widely known in the future!
