The Story

About This Place

Korean Food sits on Cầu Gỗ, a short street in the commercial core of Hoan Kiem that connects the Old Quarter's western edge to Hoan Kiem Lake. The address puts it within easy reach of both the tourist circuit and the office clusters around Đinh Tiên Hoàng, which likely explains the steady volume of reviews — 161 ratings with a 4.6 average suggests a place that earns repeat visits rather than one-off curiosity traffic.

Korean restaurants in central Hanoi tend to cluster around the expat corridors of Tây Hồ and Cầu Giấy, so a Korean option holding this rating inside Hoan Kiem proper fills a gap for diners who want something other than phở or bún chả without crossing the city. The location also makes it a practical pick for groups meeting near the lake who want a sit-down meal with more heft than the surrounding street-food options.

With limited review data available, what the rating does signal is consistency — 4.6 over more than 150 visits is harder to maintain than a handful of enthusiastic early reviews. For Korean food in a district where the cuisine is underrepresented, that track record carries weight.

AVOID 🤮 - Worst fried rice I've ever eaten and tiny portions. Disgusting. Don't understand how this place got this high rated reviews. The staff is not accomodating at all and just staring at their phone.

I had the soy garlic chicken and it was so delicious and fried perfectly. It was also a good price. The husband and wife walk around and check in with people and they are so friendly. If you want good Korean food, this is the spot to go!

I have never tried Korean food before but I really love it. As a vegetarian, it’s hard to find food which is good and not so oily. This one is great. It’s like a salad. What I’m amaze about is the seaweed. It’s my first time trying it and I love it! It’s really amazing! The mango smoothie is the best smoothie I have tried so far here in Vietnam! It’s really sweet and it doesn’t even have milk. Highly recommended. 💖

I was craving for Gimbap and this place met all my expectations. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The owners are super kind ☺️. The only thing I didn't like that much was the kimchi. I really really like kimchi but this one had a flavour I didn't like much

We visited this place with no particular expectations, mainly because we didn’t have many dining options at the time. Overall, the food was alright and the portion size was decent. The place itself is quite small, but it was busy and filled with many foreign tourists, which shows it’s fairly popular. While it may not stand out as a must-visit restaurant, it works well as a convenient alternative if you’re unsure where to eat around the Hoan Kiem Lake area.
