Gánh Hà Nội - Vietnamese restaurant in Hanoi

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic dinner at Gánh Hà Nội and it was one of the highlights of our time in Hanoi. We treated ourselves to a wonderful authentic Vietnamese feast, with our table quickly filling up with delicious dishes including Bún Chả, Ba Chỉ Chiên Riềng Sả (crispy pork with lemongrass), Đậu Non Sốt Cay Với Thịt Lợn Bằm (soft tofu in a spicy minced pork sauce), and several other local favourites. Every single dish was packed with flavour, and it's safe to say nobody left hungry! A special mention goes to our waiter, V, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. His recommendations were excellent, and every dish he suggested turned out to be a winner. The restaurant was full all evening, which speaks volumes about its popularity and quality. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Hanoi, I highly recommend Gánh Hà Nội. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing atmosphere with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly inviting to foreigners and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu and answer any questions, which made the experience even better. I ordered the spring rolls, bún thịt, and coconut ice cream, and every dish was superb. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine paired with genuinely kind hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful dining experience at GANH Hanoi Restaurant. As vegetarians, we requested purely vegetarian preparations, and the team accommodated us perfectly. The vegetable pho, vegetarian fried spring rolls, and vegetable noodles were all delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The hot lemongrass drink was also very comforting. A special mention to Lucy, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Great food, excellent service, and a very satisfying experience overall. Highly recommended! Day 2- Review for Gánh Hà Nội We visited on our second day in Hanoi and absolutely loved the food. The Vietnamese grapes were fresh and sweet, the chicken mushroom rice was comforting, the chicken phở was flavorful, and the stir-fried chicken wings were incredibly delicious. The restaurant was just opposite our hotel, so we initially stopped by out of convenience. But after the first meal, it felt like the food was pulling us back! Everything we tried was tasty, satisfying, and full of flavor. Definitely one of our favorite dining experiences in Hanoi.

When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed, which immediately felt like a good sign. You could tell it was a popular spot with lots of returning customers and a great atmosphere. After sitting down and trying the food, we completely understood why, it definitely lived up to our first impression. Had a really wonderful Vietnamese meal here with a group of seven and honestly everyone loved their food. We ordered a mix of dishes including bún chả, crispy spring rolls, grilled chicken, morning glory, a spicy tofu and minced meat stew with rice, and shrimp in a rich coconut sauce, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. One of the nicest parts of the experience was how kind and attentive the staff were. They took the time to demonstrate how to properly assemble and eat one of the wrap-style dishes with rice paper, herbs, and sauce, which made the meal feel really interactive and welcoming. They were patient, friendly, and always happy to help throughout the evening. The morning glory was especially delicious, the coconut shrimp dish was a standout, and the grilled meats were perfectly cooked. You could tell a lot of care went into both the food and the service. Altogether the bill came to around 1.5 million for 7 people, which felt like amazing value considering how much food we ordered and the quality of everything. Would definitely come back again!
